The food tastes pretty good, but for the price the portions could definitely be a little bit bigger.

The variety of the menu is really nice and from what I've had so far, everything tastes pretty good.

If you're in the local area I would recommend going there at least once 100%.

This is my favorite Asian restaurant in East Lansing. It's across MSU and along the shops on Grand River. There are a variety of dishes to choose from Chinese to Korean. We had the Bulgogi, Teriyaki Chicken, Lo Mein and Chicken with Vegetables. The food is flavorful and always a hit with my kids.

Nice spot very close to campus. Cool atmosphere.  Lightning fast service.   Almost too fast. Entrees arrived before we were half way through apps and my soup hadn't cooled off enough to eat!  By the way chicken soup fantastic.  Same with wings app. Crispy shrimp main course was good but batter was  bready.  Wife's fresh roll was great and huge! Banchan set was two nice dishes Kimchi and daikon pickled in sweet vinegar. No fish cake though a particular face if mine.  Very nice experience in a town loaded with Asian fare.
    CK. Ok.  With me!    Go

Since I was stuck in East Lansing for work for Lunar New Year, I figured i could at least get some noodles to help facilitate longer life. Luckily, Charlie Kang's is pretty close to where I'm staying, and you can order takeout in the back of the restaurant. Ordering went pretty smoothly - I ordered my chapchae (stir fry clear bean noodles and beef with shredded vegetables) from a waitress who was still being trained, but she got it quickly enough. The food came quickly enough.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much food the chapchae order came with - I couldn't finish the container of chapchae by myself, and it came with a similar-sized container of white rice. I was a little confused by adding white rice to a noodle dish, and would prefer they pair it with any other side that's not more carbs. Besides that, they also had some kind of banchan - kimchi and pickled vegetables I think. I am unfortunately not a huge fan of kimchi, but I was impressed by the nice little package.

I would definitely come back here, but I'd probably stick to the Korean dishes. I love that I can get kimbap pretty close by. The Chinese food looks pretty typical of Chinese American takeout, which is fine, but the Korean dishes look more intriguing and I'll almost definitely be back.
